Ah Ollie lad

So good to hear from you, and even better to know you are still going strong.

I do believe we may have this cracked, but, lets not get complacent, done that before, and it's not nice.

Keep in touch mate.

Don't suppose you have heard anything from Clarky or HadEnuf??

Fantastic to 'see' you guys, I thought the month 2 board looked a bit threadbare!

I had a few thoughts - either you get to month two and cave in (too embarassed to post), or you get to month 2 and are doing so well...love the additional exercise (no time to post)...have used the cash saved on a holiday (too far away to post) or champaign (too drunk to post)...didn't need the boards anymore (no need to post)...

Any which way...radio silence!

Hell, let's have none of it. I have my personal MOT with my doctor in Q4 now I'm past 40, the only time I've been in years as sport keeps me mostly fit. Traditionally from my doctor it's been "fine, see you next year and if you fancy quitting smoking then we can help".

This year I needed to reduce cholesterol and liver fats, no red meat, fried food or alcohol for two months, October and November. And my doctor didn't believe I would do it, which I took as a belligerant alpha-male challenge and did it. Two months later in December, levels all back to normal with the fantastic summer BBQ excesses worn off.

So the point for me there is - I'm looking forward to my next MOT which I'll purposefully schedule for 4th December when she asks what I'm going to do about the smoking...and I look her in the eyes and say....

Ollie and Don - keep sharing please, I for one like your posts, and Lostie great stuff - we'll see you in month three soon!

Hawkeye,

Inspirational post from your good self, congrats also on bursting through the month 2 doors, glad you left them open long enough for me to slip in there.

Can't wait for you 4 Dec post, that should be amusing to hear about the doctors expression when you say "what smoking, 1 year today I shall have you know"

Same applies Hawkeye, keep posting, this forum is the best NRT I have used.
