Day 2 going ok so far, ive had a few cravings throught the morning and have had to pop out to buy some bits to nibble on at y desk, im thinking cold turkey might not have been the best way for me to do this but hey ho, ill stick with it.
Main issue at the moment, im tired, had 2 hours sleep last night, and im now sat at my desk wondering if im going to get to sleep later
On the plus side i just smelt a spring onion sandwich within 2 seconds of it being opened from the other side of the office!

Hi Matt, welcome to the forum and good luck with your quit
At this time of the year surely "cold turkey" is the only way to go!
Sleep disruption is one of many "side effects" you may experience during your quit.
Others may include:
[*]Bleeding Gums
[*]Constipation
[*]Weight gain
[*]Lack of concentration
[*]A feeling of loss
[*]Anxiety
[*]Short temper
[*]Depression
You may experience some, all, or none of them, but in the short term they are typical of the type of things that occur as your body adjusts to its new life without smoking and all its associated stimulants.
All of them are beatable as the 1 year + threads show.
Good luck and in the early part of your quit just hang tough. Eventually you will reach a point where it all gets much, much easier.
Trust me I know. In 3 weeks I will have reached 1 year quit after smoking for 31 years and I no longer want or need to smoke
