Welcome Mary. Well done on getting to week 4. Have you been getting any side effects from using Champix?
Well done Mary
That sounds like fantastic news.
Really wish you luck for your quit.
You're through the worst so you've got this covered
Take care

hi first two week i felt i was wasting my time felt no different! then i had my last cig on the friday night of the second week fully expecting to be climbing the walls and ripping off heads....but had a good easy day, three days in i was still not craving at all but found i could not sleep! this went on for over a week but has now settled, i feel a little sick straight after taking chompix but it only lasts a very short while! i,m still not craving, over eating or have any meltdowns or paddys , cant understand how its so easy? i,m waiting for all the bad stuff to start

That is how I found them Mary. I thought they were brilliant! well done for getting this far. Onwards and Upwards for you now.
Well done Mary,I too know nothing about Champix but my really negative symptoms disappeared after about 30 days of CT so hopefully the peace will stay with you!
Hi Mary, well done on your quit and welcome to the forum xx
Well done Mary, and welcome to the forum, it's lovely when new people come along.
Molly
Hi Mary and welcome.
I did it with Champix , a short course and half the dose cos they did make me feel very, very sick, but they did the trick and I am well over 4 months quit now. I must say I did enjoy the dreams and was sorry when I lost those. You'll find the weeks fly by I am sure.
Hi and welcome and WELL DONE on quitting!
I found it too easy on champix too! I kept waiting for gigantic craves and had none! I have stopped them after about 8 weeks (am still getting my prescriptions though - doesn't hurt to be prepared!) and have been off them what, about a week now. Minimal craves/thoughts of smoking and I am still chilled and happy about being a nonsmoker.
They are magic tablets (for my mum, sis and me) and I hope they keep you on the right, fresh, clean, fragrant, happy path :D. Good luck and keep us posted!
Hello Mary!
Welcome! Well done on getting so far already Champix are amazing, aren't they? Some people have worse side effects than others but it sounds like you are doing fine. Please keep posting to let us know how you are getting on.
mary
thankyou all for your welcomes 23 days now and still no cravings .....sooo.happy! when can i class myself as a non smoker? i,ll hare a funny thing that happened today...i was leaving work nd a guy asked me if i had a lighter he could borrow,it took me a few seconds of scratting in my bag before having to tell him that i just quit! so the thought is still here
It will be there for a long time to come yet Mary, but.....
Be glad you coulcn't find a lighter, deep breath, smile and walk on with your head up high
Great isn't it?
Take care
Greg
