I can thoroughly recommend the M&S Mint Imperials to relieve the cravings - but does anyone know a good dentist?
Day 6, minty breakfast: I can thoroughly... - No Smoking Day
Day 6, minty breakfast
Pavel, have you tried sugar-free gum as an alternative to the mint imperials? I found it worked a treat on the craves with the added advantage of being good for your teeth too (and containing virtually no calories). In fact, I rather fear I'm now addicted to the stuff.
And congratulations again- only a day off completing your first week
I hate gum of all kinds unfortunately. I'm starting to like my new ashtrays though
for me it is tic tacs, tiny little mints which individually don't have many calories but I suspect the number I am eating I am going to need both a dentist and a weight loss consultant
Mmmmm, I love TicTacs as well... and so many flavours to choose from
M&S do a range of sugar-free mints and sweeties if that's any help?
Doesn't bother me, I'm skinny as a rake. Mints topped up and also Chocolate Digestives now
Well done on your quit 6 days it is amazing,Thank you
chocolate biscuits look nice may I have one xxx
Too late, I had to eat them all before they melted in the sun, you'll have to be quicker next time
Plenty of Mint Imperials left though, shall I throw one over to you?
Well done on day 6. I have been eating Polo mints.
I feel like starting Day 7 already, but there is a night in the pub looming tonight before I can do that - this has always been my biggest worry about knocking the fags on the head that I will get bladdered and conveniently 'forget' I am trying to stop
I'm going to face the pub head on. If I fail then I fail and I can always start again tomorrow (not that I'm planning to fail), but I don't see the sense in avoiding going to the pub thinking that I am bound to fail (smoking in pubs is still allowed here so it's not like I can ever avoid it)
I suppose if I get drunk enough I will actually forget that I failed so that would also be a win, right?
