I'm dead happy, 2 years I was smoking for, so now is probably the best time to stop, my doctor said the fact I smoked so little and for only 2 years, smoking wouldn't have had any drastic change on me, so stopping now is best!
Just be mindful that the little tyke (nico-demon) wil try to trip you up when you are at your most vulnerable so make like a ninja and always be on your guard.
I'm on day 2 also, so far so good... the hardest part was actually once I got home last night, I was just sat on the sofa chatting to hubbie and kept getting up and then realising I was going for a fag and sitting back down....
In the end I got fed up and went to bed - never smoke there!!!!
How long does it really take to stop thinking - "oh fag time" all the time?
hi bubb, nice one for ghetting to day 2. Its a great achievement.
In answer to your question, i think that it is different for everyone. I think the very early stages are bound to be filled with moments like this and it takes time for your mind to get used to different behaviours. The only thing to do is ride it out. It will get better, that for sure.
