Another first...

I don't mind admitting that that this last week has been hell. I have a feeling I can put that down to a number of firsts. My first dentist appointment since my quit. My first ever singing audition for a role in panto. I had another first today which actually made me smile tho. I saw a lady lighting a cig in city centre and actually thought that it looked disgusting. The smell has turned my stomach and the thought of having a draw has made me feel sick but the sight of somebody smoking has never bothered me before. Until today. I love the fact that even heading in to week 8 (10.45pm tonight woo hoo!!!) I am still finding positives. And I am also making a note of the negatives because I don't ever want to have to quit again, and I use the hard work I have already done to keep me on the right path.

Keep going Mark... and good luck with the audition. You can do it without nasty smelly cigarettes (probably even better as your voice won't be strained!)

I can tell you the where and when but not which one's I am doing... yet. The show is double cast to accomodate more people so I don't know which one's I am going to be in.

Olympic Quitters

Hi. Joined Forum today. I don't see any Sept quit groups so would very much like to join your group. I broke up with Mr. Silky Cut a few weeks back and to date am doing OK ish, feeling a bit lost tho. I know I'm a few weeks out of sync, but I did have a few failed attempts in July / August, (I blame Andy Murray!!!!), so maybe that can count.
