Something that's keeping me going now has to be the regained sense of smell and taste.
It really sucks to think something so expensive can limit your senses and make even the slightest meal/drink mundane.
Also loving the exercise i've been able to get, 20 minutes running on the treadmill now. TOWIU

Woke up today in the depths of misery and despair... ok the blues .. it's a long story starting with broken bones culminating in the meaning of life, as these things do. There must be something that I have gained from this quit but try as I might all I could think about was doom and gloom and couldn't think of anything worth any effort at all.
But that's it - my reason which has now become naturally effortless is not getting out of bed for the sole reason of lighting up. All i need to do is shake my ass out of bed and do some exercise which i have been promising myself and encouraged to do by reading some of the helpful posts here. Wish me luck lol
I can have a a few extra hours in bed at the weekend now instead of waking up and running out the back door for a fix, i just roll over and ZZzzzzzzzz.
With my taste not really notice anything that taste better iv notice certain things niw taste vile...
I love that now my teeth are white and that I haven't got a horrid brown stain on me front tooth.. And I haven't got yellow fingers.. And I don't smell.. And that my hands are better iv got carpool tunnel syndrome and used to have to sleep in wrist splints... But hardly have to anymore., and that my hands and feet are no longer freezing all the time my circulation was very poor.
My voice. I got my voice back. I can sing again. I bloody love singing.
Really jealous. A frog can sing better than me....in fact anyone and anything can sing better than me. Oh well at least I don't stink and wheeze anymore.

All that at 29 just imagine what it would be like at 39 or 49 luckily you are never going to smoke again
My confidence.... really thought that I was one of those rare people that couldn't go through life without a cigarette, I can confidently say that I can!!
My sense of smell (the plus)... I can now actually smell the reed diffusers I have around my home that have cost me an arm and a leg over the years to mask the smell of smoke, even though I did not smoke inside!!
(The minus)...well, lets just say, those that don't practice personal hygiene routines have become that much more apparent to my snout!
My overall diet...I am eating and drinking well, even my alcohol intake has been massively reduced since quitting.
My energy levels...fluctuates but when they're high...nothing can stop me in my tracks...like Usain Bolt I am and then of course on other days...I feel like Ustayin Bed instead!!! LOL
My pocket...according to the NHS Smokefree Cost Calculator I have saved £210 since my quit date 05/07/12...the Hynotherapy cost me £295...so soon I will break even and then really begin to reap the financial benefits. I have promised my niece a trip to the Big Apple next Summer, so that the plan!!!
So all in all...not bad going, things can only get better!
Ooooo I forgot the major thing that's better is my smell... As it saved my life.. Didn't notice I was having a majors gas leak I the house that was making me Ill.. that's the good thing. but the bad thing is ppl who have poor hygiene make me stomach turn..
