Don't quit quitting!

Hi All

After reading this forum since my quit day, I thought it was about time to posted something! This forum is encouraging and is a great motivation tool as part of your quit programme.

I'm on day 20 now and wanted to share some of the things that I am already benefitting from.

I'm saving a fortune

I no longer stink of fags

I can go to places that I would have hesitated to go to before because I couldn't smoke

My OH gives me more hugs and no longer say "Poo you stink of fags"

My early morning hacking cough is on it's way out

I can exercise more without coughing my guts up

My breathing is so much easier

My sense of taste is coming back

With every day that passes my craving is less and less

I had my nails done with some of the money I'm saving

I no longer have nicotine or other rubbish in my body

If you're thinking of quitting, then do it! There are far more benefits from giving up the cancer sticks up than not quitting.

If you've already quit and are having a wobble then keep going - you can do this! think of all the benefits of quitting and read the posts on this forum to get more encouragement.
