day 2 for me today, struggling a bit but determined to keep on track, . I have been off the cigs before ( for 6years ) started again about one year ago by just saying.... i will just have one and then became a heavy smoker again. I am sooooo annoyed with myself for doing this and having to start all over again, but im here now and glad i found this forum to help me.
good luck everyone !!

Hiya, wow 6 years is a long time to quit, i'm sure you'll do it again
I quit for over 2 months & had one cig 3 weeks ago that led me back to 20 a day  I'm annoyed at myself too, I did the same last year after quitting for 4 months  At least we know now that one cig always leads to full blown smoking...
No matter how stressed, depressed or angry I get I will not smoke again & I'm sticking to it this time - it just makes me feel worse...
Welcome to the long road to recovery and the the highs and lows it brings. 6 years is mind boggling and hopefully i can reach that stage in the future.
Yeah, i could Kick myself for starting after doing so well , my grandaughter was born with severe disabilities and was going through a terrible time and nearly didnt make it, i struggled to cope and smoked  She is doing so well now and i really want to see her grow up so I have decided to quit for good this time !!

So sorry to hear about your grandaughter, i'm glad she's doing well now too It's awful when things like that happen in the family (i've had quite a few) but I know that smoking never helped me in any situation, I just thought it did.
