Day 4...

Well, here I am again... after trying to quit twice this year I'm back and raring to go once again. Chosen to go cold turkey this time and chose to educate myself on how Nicotine affects our body and our brain which I'm hoping will help in times of need.

I'm a 22 year old whose usually out and about on a Friday night but just couldn't muster up the energy to do it tonight and the realisation that I usually cave in after a couple of drinks meant it was probably a wise decision.

Really struggling with the depression that's linked with not smoking, I know it will get better in time but at the moment words can't describe how I feel... I'm becoming very ratty with friends and loved one, also feeling a little on the paranoid side too!

Hope everyone else's quit is going well :)

Believe me if you can give up smoking at such a young age you will most certainly reap the benefits. I never even thought about quitting at that age but i wish i did now.

Even if you have to stay in for a few weeks(like me) it's hardly a sacrifice.

Well done on going Cold Turkey also. Try to go for a walk daily on your own(take music with you) :)

Depression is a serious problem which the authorities only seem to be taking seriously this last decade. I know as i've been there. :)

Oh and what team is WFC ? Watford ?

Now you mention it rogue, three friends of mine successfully gave up at a young age by more or less staying at home and not speaking to anyone for two or three weeks. Seems drastic but it worked for them.

Good luck with your quit chez :)
