I am new on here...have been smoking for 37 years....since the age of 15. I am off work for a week so have decided this is the time to stop. I have a patch on my arm, an inhailer waiting to be used and am feeling very nervous. Haven't tried to stop for years!
Wish me luck.

Welcome Sue. Congrats on taking the difficult first step and deciding to quit the cancer sticks. There are tough days ahead BUT remember it's psychological, you need to tell yourself that you are not trying to quit but rather you have quit and you are now a non smoker.
Keep us posted with how you are doing, there are plenty of people here who have been through it and can help you. Just reading this forum was a huge help to me when I quit!
