Day 67...Xmas twitches...

...put my tree up yesterday - previously would have had a fag break:

[*] After building the tree

[*] After putting the lights on

[*] After putting the tinsel on

[*] After adding the baubles and finishing off with an angel/star

I used to smoke way too much

Instead, I just sneezed:

[*] Whilst building the tree

[*] Whilst putting the lights on

[*] Whilst putting the tinsel on

[*] Whilst adding the baubles and finishing off with an angel/star

...due to the dust!!!

haha how true your post is everything i did was split down into smoke breaks too. happy to report i no longer miss my old life, the rituals are all a little wierd now looking back

that is soooo funny and yet so true lol, i got my son to put my tree up as i knew it would stress me out.

p.s speaking of rituals, i never had a watch i knew what the time was by how many ciggies i'd smoked how sad is that.

ha ha ha Oh my days.....I can soooooooooo relate to that......I got my tree out with trepidation this year....but hey just stuck a mince pie in my gob at every opportunity....:eek:

I'm gonna roll into the New Year but at least my lungs will be fine lol

The mince pie cure, only beaten by the doube chocolate muffin cure. These are revered as an age old cure for the treatment of *I want to shove a ciggie in my mouthitis*

Treat them carefully for they shall see off the Demons of Nico-Tina that traditionally appear around the time of good will and celebrations, you will often find the Demon is attached to some form of alcohol.

Take care brave quitters and keep your hoard of the mince pie and the double chocolate muffin well guarded.

ain't that a fact ....but we're armed and dangerous citizens....I mean really....don't mess with me when I have a mince pie......the outcome will not be pleasant.......

we can manage the Christmas Season my cyber friends.....because on 31st December when some of our smoking pals will be 'giving up smoking' I shall smile wryly and think thank goodness I've already done it

Yeah - Chrimbo tree went up yesterday and although I was on guard as it were, there were some really dicey moments!

Hardest one was my tradition of toasting the tree with a wee dram of malt (which was usually followed by a fag) - didn't quite know what to do with myself for a few minutes there so had another wee dram (OH had eaten all the pies!)....which led to another and then another, by which point the Chrimbo tree was talking to me....and I had to reply and so it went on....my Chrimbo has led quite a life let me tell you...
