Wow! Came on here today looking for some motivational things to print of for my Mum then thought to look at my quit keeper -
I have been quit for 1 Year, 9 Months, 19 hours, 21 minutes and 28 seconds (638 days). I have saved £2,371.55 by not smoking 9,582 cigarettes. I have saved 1 Month, 2 Days, 6 hours and 30 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 06/01/2010 21:45
I can't believe its been so long and the amount of cigarettes I would have smoked makes me feel quite ill. I can't say I haven't had the odd drunken slip up but I don't do that any more. I finally feel free and its quite a feeling.
I owe a lot to the lovely people on here so thank you so much. Its quite emotional reading back over my earlier posts and seeing the amazing help I got and how everyone supports each other. I don't get the chance to come on here in my new job so much but I do recommend this place to anyone who talks about quitting.
Jase once told me that if I could feel what the sense of achievement was going to be like I would be more determined and now I know he was right.
To feel this good about not smoking was worth every minute of my emotional rollercoaster of a quit (am a big drama queen ;)). So to anyone else early on their journey, get your head down and power through it, you can do it and its so worth it. Good luck everyone.
