Hi Jase,
Well done and be proud of this, I like a few others are following in your footsteps and heading towards the two year mark. Funny I have not meet you at the penthouse bar yet.
But well done and lets look forward to the next year.

You havent met jase in the bar Danny Boy cause you spend too much time laying on the floor with your eyes shut, resting you call it

Brilliant job, Jase!
What with me being in the right spot for consumption of the aforementioned trappist fare, I'll definitely raise my glass to you!
Alex.

Happily Duvel Moortgat Brewery export to 40 countries, so a lot of us can savour its delight. However, to describe Duvel as 'trappist fare' is inaccurate, Mikey. The embedded link provides advice on what would correctly be described in those terms

Good to see you CAN do your homework, and are still as adept as ever at ruining an otherwise decent thread!
My point was to raise my glass to Jase's achievement.
If you need a 'man to man' then please PM me.
Alex.
Very well done Jase, don't hop on here often any more but I'm very glad I saw this. BIG CONGRATZ!!!!!!Approaching my 2 years in August, looking forward to following in your foot steps

:DHey Jase...big congrats to you.....a huge achievement....its great being a non smoker:eek: (never thought I would say that once).....Best wishes from Australia...xxxxx

Jase
Well done mate! This is the first time I've been on for ages and its great to see this message. Not far behind you and still quit.
Best thing EVAH!
Great to see you going strong.

glad to see so many still going strong, its really warming to see many of you still going just as I am, and even more than so many more are now also making the journey to freedom too.
for those just starting out, its tough at first, but stick with it.. you will get ups and downs, and some days will definitely seem tougher than others, but it won't kill you or harm you to be quit from smoking. Keep going, the road ahead smooths out and once you get to it you will look back on your journey and be as glad as many of us are. Sometimes we try this journey quite a few times, but eventually we do it, and thats when we get to this point.
I've recently survived a major redundancy cull at work, i managed to keep my job after attending an interview and technical test among other things and survived a 66% cut in the workforce at my place of work. It was stressful, upsetting and demoralising, but I didn't smoke, nor think of smoking.. and that says alot as there WAS a time when I would have thought nothing of having a smoke to help me through. Now i just don't.. and thats what quitting has given me. I cope better with stress when not smoking, now who would have thought that?
Great news about your job, you did really well. I think I remember this was a problem way back when you were first stopped so am delighted to hear you have it sorted. 5855
