Well, another day(DAY12) done and dusted. This is a time I have seen members here simply:eek: DISAPPEAR:eek:.Having said that ,I do believe we have some strongly motivated June Quitters on board who are determined to keep the quit going(and enjoy posting, sometimes with well earnt humour).I for one fit into this catagory and only a complete nervous breakdown (which I am not anticipating:)) will stop me from continuing with this quit.I strongly believe those of us who are approaching the start of the third week will be here in a months time......thats if we still want to post.......and enjoying life as a non smoker. And yes,one day at a time and never take another puff and it still not all plain sailing......BUT OH,ITS SO WORTH IT!!!!!!...douglas(j)...PS will post maybe afternoon/evening as DAY 14 approaches.....And then its into WEEK 3.:)Best Wishes To All Who Are Here......A little humour always helps...
And Finally If Its True...Statistically after keeping a quit for two years you are highly unlikely to ever smoke again.....Hmmm(source....stopsmokingrevealed.org/sto... ) well if its true heres to the next 23 and a half months!!!!!.........wot a slog!!!!!!....but worth it 4 sure!!!!.......

Thanks everybody.....half way through day 13 and know I wont be smoking but still those pesky withdrawal feelings floating around from time to time.Let them I say.....No Smoking Today!!!!
Rotten afternoon with a number of craves etc(empty feeling) well it is DAY 13....but I definitely wasn't tempted to smoke.Well in 5 hours it will be 14 days since I quit smoking.Staying committed to the cause is so important at the moment. Those craves can be nasty and upsetting but they pass.i can understand why people give up their quits before two weeks.NO PAIN NO GAIN.Unfortunately its true with the quit. However it is '''''DOABLE'''''.I cannot afford to lose this quit so I remain strong.Day 14....two weeks of not smoking.Wonderful.So happy to be a nonsmoker again.douglas.j
I miss Mr White and Daizy too, they were so upbeat and funny.Let's hope they are either taking a rest or have broadband probs. I guess they will know that we're all still here for them if they are having a wobble.
