Well what can I possibly say!!! I don't actually believe I have done this - on will power alone!!! And one packet of mini's -they work well -honest.
Yep!! At times I could have clawed out someones eyes -but kept busy. ( At least til the shops shut!!). What tickles me is that my hubby ( and worlds greatest anti smoking campaigner) has not even noticed!!! Wonder when he will!!!!

Well done, you have done brilliantly, and if Hubby really hasn't noticed treat yourself to something really expensive to make up for his lack of observation :D
Opened wardrobe door yesterday -and for first time I noticed that there was an ovewhelming aroma of stale ciggies!! Not nice!! I guess I must always have smelt like that too.
Washed every jumper as weather perfect for drying!!!
I agree with your sentiments. I had " ring fenced" ciggy money. That HAD to be in my purse or I'd panic. But if kids wanted say £5.oo to go into town I always said I had no money!!! Now I rarely need to go to cash machine as I don't need to buy ciggies - if that all makes sense. Therefore am saving money -hence a family treat.
 Can't believe your husband hasn't noticed! That's hilarious! I do wonder if he has noticed and is just treading so carefully to follow your lead.
At first, when I decided to quit, I only told a couple of people that I trusted because I didn't want all the extra encouragement. I thought it would just constantly bring it to the front of my mind when I just wanted to forget about smoking. Plus, if I'm honest, I didn't want the huge feeling of guilt if I failed so the less people that knew the better. Of course I changed my mind and told everyone eventually anyway but they all said that they suspected I had quit. I suppose it's pretty obvious when they're so used to you smoking in front of them!
As far as I know he hasn't noticed still. Last time I gave up ( i'm an expert at giving up by the way!!!) he NEVER did notice. So not expecting any changes there!!!
Went shopping today and treated myself to not one -but TWO tops with money saved!!!
Also -sense of smell improving by the day. today the air smelt of summer -if you know what i mean. And even had a squirt of Dior perfume in the shop -and I can still smell it on my wrist!!
Every morning I go to kitchen cupboard and open different jars to see if sense of smell returning -and yes -can smell all sorts now. Not too strong yet -but getting there.Thought I had lost sense of smell forever.
Am gratefull to posts re bleeding gums!! over last couple of days my teeth, gums, jaw etc have been sore -so was relieved to see others experienced similar side effects. Much better today I am pleased to say.
As far as sense of smell returning, it's a good thing and a bad thing. Not so good when you pass a field that has just been manured or dare I say it................When we go to the loo for a p**. But to smell food again is nice, to go outside and smell flowers and plants again.
Maybe your husband does not want you to know he has noticed. Because then you will converse about it and perhaps he feels it's better not to say anything. I know when I first stopped my wife although she had noticed did not speak about it in case I started again.
