In a lay-by, in the dark, in the rain, in my OH's car waiting for a pick up truck to collect my little old classic which had been nearly killed by my OH that day.
Starving hungry but laughing at the ridiculousness that was the situation whilst having my spirits buoyed by Mrs Cox, who probably was eating curry.
Got home at almost 11:30 pm, no food but lots of wine.
Like you i have yet to celebrate that landmark, i still have 7 months till i reach it but i have decided that my OH & I should go out for a meal or go to the cinema to celebrate. It may not seem much to him to remember the date and then to celebrate but for me its something i have to do.
He makes me laugh because once a month on the anniversary date (24th) i make a point of saying 2 months, 3 months, 4 months and i am well chuffed. I know once the Penthouse has been reached it will be a different story but until then im making the most of all the milestones.
I will go to Egypt and go diving to a very, very deep dive that I have yet to do because I'm concerned that my smoking habit interferes with my ability to absorb enough oxygen at depth.
My day has been spent with my best mate, we ate cake so thats got to be good, i wanted to go for a run but my legs are still sore from yesterday so i will go tomorrow. I've made a cornish pasties for the kids tea now i'm gonna crash out!! no biggy for me, i'm just glad i've quit the habit. One day at a time!! well done everyone.
