Wow Bluetree, I've been waiting all day to congratulate you!
Congratulations, I bet you feel on top of the world, I hope I meet you in the penthouse in about 8 1/2 months time, I just have to stay as strong as you have been!
Trust me people after going cold turkey after 25 yrs, if I can do it then ANYONE can, good luck and just keep going, if won't happen over night or in a few weeks but it will get so much better in time.
Here's copy and paste of my first couple of posts just over 12 months ago exactly were you are now, you could be posting like this in 12 months and it feels good to have quid for good, best thing I ever did so be strong people and all the best on your quit.
"Hi everyone, I've smoked since I was 13 and I'm now 37 and super unhealthy, I found this forum and have already watched the s17 posted smoking vids and thanks, I've tried to pack in loads of times"
I said one year about someone else a year ago
" I'm only 5 hrs in and feeling it, but posts like yours are a great help and inspiration that It can be done and I hope I'm making a post like yours one year today"

PENTHOUSE MEMBER I will be there to open the door for you!
Well deserved congrats to YOU!!!! How awesome is that...I'll see you there in the future. The 20th will make 8 months for me and all though we each sometimes have our on way of doing it I agree 1000% with your post here.
It's always so cool to read that someone's made it to the Penthouse. And in this thread, TWO people have reached it. Congratulations to you both!
I'm really starting to count the days now. I have about 62 to go. A year used to seem astronomically long when I first started (more like a light year!), but now I can almost touch it.
Anyway, this thread is about two fantastic successful quitters, not me. So to them I say Woohoo! Way to Go! And thanks for posting!!!
