Happy no smoking day all good luck to all giving up today and already given up keep going it's worth it

Yesterday was better than i thought it was going to be, pleased i've got through to day 2

Feeling a bit sick at times which i know is just the side effects from the tablets so will keep going with it, plod on

Have you 'chatted' to any of the others on Champix? There have been some good threads on how to overcome sickness and other side issues. Not on it myself, so don't want to put something here that's wrong, but have a bit of a search.

Nope, from what I understand it takes a few days before it starts to work. But when it does - well you'll know!

Hi Ruth, how far are you into to taking the tablets? the sicky feeling for me and the cigarettes tasting nasty only started when i started taking the higher dose on day 7, not the same for everyone, keep going with them set your date and stop see how you feel then x

I smoked pretty much the same for the first week, more on some days (i think that part of me was rebelling or trying to get as many in as i could before i give up) but i'd decided that day 8 would be my quit day, when i woke up in the morning i expected to really want/need a cigerette but it wasn't as bad as i thought, i'm now on day 3........ so go for it good luck x

I don't feel too bad today, bit sicky but i'm trying to take the tablets different ways before, during, after food to see which one works the best
