Today is day one for me, its been good so far, i am on the patches and I really feel like I can do this.
I seems weird but I feel better already, im just a bit nervous because it seems a little too easy - I think I might start to struggle in the next few days, I hoping this site will help me a bit.

LOL - you'll find a few people saying that on here!
You can try to find some healthy snacks, sugar free gum or something. Some people have done well taking up knitting and stuff to stop themselves gorging on sweeties. But I think in the short term if you put on a few pounds, what the hell, it's still better than smoking. You can always get rid of it at the gym later.
Just keep a weather eye on it so you don't replace one addiction with another
Lollies. Its all about the lollies for me, helped with the hand-to-mouth cravings, the habit of unwrapping and having something to hold. Plus the sweet taste stopped me stuffing my face with food all day. Result!
Invest in decent lollies though, Chuba Chubs, otherwise you'll be pulling faces when your taste comes back and you realise how rank the cheap 1p lollies can be!!!
I've taken shares in our local sweet shop as it's doing great since i stopped smoking............. might also get shares in our local dentistry as may be needing new gnashers once these fall out from all the sugar
