So right now I am really struggling! The ass that I work with keeps doing things to annoy me and I definatley think it is on purpose!
I told work yesterday that I have quit, they where all very proud etc. But anything I say today is met with a sarcy comment from the guy who works with me. I really dont want to crack up and for them all to laugh becasue I am highly stressed with quitting but I don't think it is on!
I really feel that a ciggie would help me right now
This is the strongest urge I have had so far!
xx

Does this person mean so much to you that you care what he says or does??? nah don’t think so do you, is he a smoker and if so the answer is that he is jealous as smokers often are when someone they work with quits, it makes them feel inferior as they haven’t managed to quit first, and if he is a non smoker maybe he is just jealous of the positive attention you are getting, or could be he fancies you now you have quit and is too simple minded to be able to think of a more subtle way to get your response.
Doesn’t matter really as you have quit and that’s what’s important, maybe you are a little ermm testy at the moment and easily wound up as we are when we first quit but don’t worry that does ease off, take care
Just try and take it all with a pinch of salt Jill. I wonder if he is still smoking and jealous because he thinks you will succeed with you quit. If he's a non smoker maybe he's coming on with the holier than thou rubbish. Whatever he's doing it for Jill, just smile, after all you're doing it for you, not him, with a bit of luck that will piss him off. Keep at it Jill. David
I do think I am a bit more edgy than usual, I have this persona sometimes as being hard faced and nothing bothers me and I think it is surprising people that I am finding this so hard. Maybe it is me also finding it strange that I am struggling so much, lost control if that makes sense.
No he doesn't smoke, he is a complete no smoking, no drinking no anything really type of person. Maybe you are right, maybe he is jealous of the attention, I will avoid him for a few days I think!
Hi Jill well done for giving up smoking and for joining this forum
just remember to take each craving at a time and it will pass just try and distract your mind and hand as for people that are annoying well maybe he was already annoying  but you hadnt noticed before lol

Jill ... if it was me, I'd have punched him by now, so well done
A) on your restraint
B) on making it this far!
Ignore the "Ass" ... if it carries on, mention it to your/their boss ... there is no need for people to stress you out deliberately in order to make you fail.
