Just had to come on and tell you all as i'm really excited!!
Just been for lunch with a couple of friends (two very close friends, one smoker, one ex-smoker - quit in Jan) and a new person, who is a smoker. I've never met this newbie before and, after lunch, the 2 smokers stood up to go outside and the newbie said "are you coming with us" to me (the other ex-smoker had already said she didn't smoke before i arrived). My reply was...
"...No thanks, I don't smoke."
It's the first time i've said this rather than "i've quit". It felt GOOOOOOODD!!
I then sat inside with my friend (and her 6 week old baby) finishing our drinks and staying warm and dry, and we watched the 2 smokers out of the window. They looked cold and unhappy and like they would much rather be inside with us. Funny isn't it when you see it from the 'other side'?!
