Day 2........Nearly but didn't

Afternoon all!

After a restless evening not being able to get settled into any thing & not being able to get to sleep 'cos all I could think about was smoking I woke this morning literally growling (inside) like a lion because I could not smoke

The last few of my cigs I left for my hubby to take to work he announced that he had put them in the kitchen drawer. Shock, horror. I took them out last night & again put them next to his to take to work today. Just as well I did as I think I may have had one in my mad moment of growliness. Luckily they had gone but I admit I looked in the drawer just in case :mad: Phew, close shave me thinks.

I am in a much better mood now (even though I am at work) I am pleased to say. Still didn't put a patch on this morning (but nearly did) so just managing on Lozenges again.

I have to say that the improvement to my chest (lungs I mean) IS INCREDIBLE ALREADY. I have been far less out of breath & the wheezing, crackling is far better. For those that don't know I have COPD & the condition had worsened considerably to the point of being breathless doing the slightest thing. To improve that much in 1 day is just brilliant

Hi G so glad that you didnt cave and smoke the drawer cigs maybe you should realise that you are stronger than you think and that no matter whether there are cigs in the house YOU WILL NOT SMOKE ok so maybe you would but this quit you havent, well done and keep your hands busy.

well the main thing is you didnt so thats the best way ive had to endure shopping on a friday and with the forecast of snow which normally drives everyone into panic shopping but it was quite calm which helped me no ends and the lights were being nice to me (turning green as i got to them) so even better im just chilling with a glass of baileys yummy as they have it on offer atm and i certainly deserve a treat :)just hope i dont get the call from my daughter in the next couple of hours :eek::eek:

oh btw if your love internet shopping you should always compare whatever you want with first ebay and then amazon ive found some amazing bargains on both sites

wow Carol let me catch up lol. £ glasses of wine for me hic, 2 to go lol. Internet shopping, got it down to a tee. See what you want, compare all sites then check out e-bay lol (doing it as I speak) hehehe. Call from your daughter???? Me is confused.

The drawer cigs where gone thank goodness as I said. Don't fancy chocolate - on a diet lol xx
