Thank you for sharing that because i am even more determined to make a go of this and i know that i can stay smoke free now. Cheers Marg, enjoy your new found life
Supported more people on here than anyone, not just when people first join, but for the duration. Pity more people didn't appreciate it. I did, thanks Marg. From one old warrior to another. Love. David. xxx
Well done you and what a stunning quit you have, I bet 2 years ago you didnt think you would get this far did you.
All the bad things are behind you now I hope and even the health issues that I know are causing you a few problems at the moment will be under control soon and leave you feeling even more fantastic.
I thank you as well as I am one of the quitters who has felt the benefit of your support on this forum right from the start of my quit up untill this present day, keep up the good work we all appreciate it.
Yes it;s great hun all behind us now and as you say life is Grand and it's so good to be free of the dreaded weed

Yay Marg, big Well Done to you! Truly after 50 years of smoking this is such an achievement. I'm glad I made this journey besides you and am happy for all of us who have achieved freedom from this addiction. Wishing you all the best and I hope to see you around here and there! Love, bella xxx
Hey marg. I don't come on here often but I have been keeping an eye out for this. You gave me so much support both in my quit and outside of it. A true surrogate mother! You really deserve some big congratulations! Glad you are happy, you were always an inspiration to me and gave me so many logical tips to get me through. Big love to you marg. Miss you lots too! Fi X x x x
Hi Marg, thank you so much for sharing this... you really are an inspiration! Of course, it's only you who needs to be proud of yourself but all of your family and friends must be delighted for you as well!
Thankyou for the message hun I hope to see you around aswell hun I still come here not everyday but most days though this week has been the very devil everything happening at once and yesterday was my only free day lol

Hi SLB
Thankyou for the message I may not post much nowadays for reasons I won't go into but I come and read as often as I can I am proud of what I've done hun but
Everyone that quits should be proud and celebrate their freedom everyday it's no easy task but it is doable so just hold on tight and enjoy the ride
Hi Sian
Thanks hun for the message I remember you as well do you know it doesn't seem like 2 years to me
Thank you for the message hun and yes it was hard at times but life is very sweet for me smoke free
Hi Gaynor
It's great to hear from you hun thankyou and I remember you started just after me but I have no doubt that you to will win through hun it took me a lot of years and a lot of falls before I made it
Hi Tommy
I knew your anniversary was around the same as mine except that you're a year ahead of me
Thanks for the message I am proud of what I have done and very happy with my life
I guess this is the only section where we're really allowed to be smug and boy do I feel smug...
Excellent news Marg, I didn't realise you were almost exactly a year behind me and young Tomatpots a mere day or two apart.
The difference between 2 years and 3 years? Nowt if you ask me.
I come here less, I still sent parcel-bombs to Glaxosmithkliene and I still dream of a day when someone in authority will actually help smokers rather than confuse them.
Thanks for the message hun It's good to see you here hun and smoke free ain't life grand
Hi Jackie
Thanks hun for the message and the PM lol
Hi Cav
Thanks hun noce to hear from you and my thanks for all the hel and support in the early days and the freindship later
Hi Tinkerbelle
Thank you I was always determined hun but like most of us I had me bad days along with the good
Hi Austin
Lovely to hear from you and yep you and Tom are a year ahead of me and when I started my quit it seemed an almost impossible goal to reach that 1 year thanks for all the help and encouragement you gave me
I'm also much fitter hun and yes we're allowed to be smug and as you say now the difference between 2 years a 3 is nothing but when I started it was an awful lot I also come here a lot less now hun
Hi Dubbs
Thanks also for the message and the help in the early days hun
My apologies to you all for the late acknowledgement of your messages I haven't been here lately as life has been a little manic lately and please shre the :D:D:D as we're only allowed four here you couldn't have one each lol
2 years puts you in a place on your quit that even the folk reaching 1 year right now will aspire too.. and i'm sure you have folk ahead of you too that make you think.. 'WOW!'..
but it is a wonderful time for you and many of us who've stuck it out through it all, the benefits by far outweigh the effort
Well done Marg, i've posted for you elsewhere, but as i was passing here today wanted to say congrats
I'm still going myself as you know, nearly 17 months (on the 11th), and well, is it ok to say you feel like a fake when you are no longer feeling any real cravings, and just feelin normal? its been a long time since i've needed any positive support, which is why i've spent much of my time on the forums giving my time back to helping those still struggling.
just as you have. Keep this going marg, you help so many folk out, and even those who perhaps haven't created accounts yet.
Marg !!!! Remember me??? I will have been smoke free for 2 years in 6 days time ! amazing isnt it !! when ever I think of how I stopped smoking i always think of you and Stuart, who were such a massive support to me at the time. You guys probably saved my life !!
Hey Marg sorry I'm so late but I too only come on every now and then. Great to hear your still doing so well!!! Had a blip on a drunkin Hollows eve but besides that night I'm close to 16 months being a non smoker. Its amazing I only think of smoking when I get drunk, just a couples no prob its the lets dance with a lamp shade on my head nights that's a problem LOL. Woke up the next day like WTF did I do that? Keep being strong and enjoying life hun.
