not feeling to bad at all on this glorious thursday Morning .

got a little bit of a cough this morning but this might be down to just getting over the dreaded man flu,

its not my fault i have it down to the last sec just the website i use,

well i think i am going to spend the might £20 i saved so far at the pub on friday ,

my friend has just had a little girl so we are going wetting the babys head ,

Aha! I am sure men get man flu worse than women as women see man flu as a slight cough and a tiny bit of a cold. Difference is women aren't bed bound for the next week as they are simply too poorly to do anything else! Haha bless!

I think my saved money might also include some drinks. I'm being dragged down to watch rugby with a friend of mine on Saturday so will need some sort of alcohol! Not that watching rugby players run around isn't entertainment enough!

How are you going to cope with drinking and not smoking though? I always smoke a lot more when drinking so think I am going to find Saturday really hard as I have kept away from drinking any alcohol all this week.xx

Morning Gary and welcome to the site, 4 days and still going strong is brilliant, I hope all your friends appreciate how hard it is to have quit and that you need there support to stay quit, especially after getting over man flu as well.

Stay strong and smoke free and trust me it does get better and better, enjoy your night out but watch for the nicco demons.

my plan is to just get so drunk i cannot stand up and wont even be able to smoke .

only joking ( well a little bit :p)

it will be hard i know that , same as you i haven’t touched a drop of alcohol since i quit so it will be a test ,

on the plus side there is only 1 of my friends who smoke now the rest all quite a while back ,

plus the one person who smokes is the most boring person you will ever meet so not smoking means not having to spend time with the mono tome boring friend .

so defiantly another advantage to quitting

None of my friends smoke whilst I am here at home, problem with Saturday is I will be outside watching Rugby so could normally light up whenever I felt. Argh! Well, fingers crossed it all goes well for us. Oh, and I think you need to drop your boring mono tone friend! x

Ah I see, well at least you wont have to put up with him. It's just a localish game, my friends fiancée plays for them. Should be fun though.
