100 days for me

Well I've made it - the one milestone I've been holding out for and I've made it albeit a tad early as it's not official til 11pm tonight but hey this way I can party all day

The last month has been a challenge - think I've had every emotion under the sun and probably discovered some new one's. The temptation to smoke has been there constantly just niggling away at the back of my mind - even made secret smoking plans but I won't give in - the thought of having to do this again is keeping me going.

On the positive side I'm feeling so much healthier, I've saved loads of money and been able to treat myself to a new push bike, the freedom from not having to plan your smoking day is wonderful and my skin has finally got over the teenage spot thing that was going on plus I don't smell - never realised how stinky smokers are and it horrifies me to think I smelt like that :eek:

So fill a glass and raise a toast to Pookie the non smoker

What a lovely post I am sooooooo pleased for you, 100 days is amazing and so well deserved!

I'm not counting as much as I used to as dont want to wish my life away but not long after the 100 days for me I really felt I was beating it, still do although I dont get too excited as I know there are still hurdles to come!

Congrats Pookie, 100 days is a really good quit, you've got it now, just remember to never take another puff.

Always nice to read about someone doing so well, remember feeling much more confident at 100 days, keep on keeping on.

Awwwwww thanks you guys I am genuinely touched and Sky if you read this it brought a tear to my eye to read your kind words - miss you Just spent a lovely afternoon in my local watching the planes come in for our local airshow - may post some pics if they come out well. Feeling ultra confident about this quit - feels sooooo achievable at the moment and I'm feeling on top of the world
