You won't believe it

...my husband who gave up smoking over a year ago has fallen off the wagon :(

Think it was my fault as well to top it all, he was doing so well but I kept smoking in front of him when we were both drinking.

Its the age old story, it started with just one, and built up from there to point that he could not hide it from me any more.

I am confident in my quit, finally! So not worried about me, but very sad for him:(

  • Hey Zena

Mine did the same 2 weeks ago....after 8 months quit he started with one and went on from there. :(

I was angry but more because it spoils my no smoking life style but now I realise his quit is up to him and as long as it does not rock my quit then it is not my problem...

    Doesn't stop me being mad though....LOL :D

    Stay strong Hun.....MEN GRRRRRR :D

  • Goes to show...in the words of Allen Car himself (maybe little paraphrased)

...don't think of it as 'do I want one cigarette', think of it as 'do I want to be a smoker again'.

Is there any point on putting pressure on him to stop?

Plus the annoying thing is we are now financial no better off for my quit so no pot of money building up for my treat any more

Probably no point at all.....mine feels very guilty though and tried so hard to hide it from me....he was mortified when I smelt it on him earlier this evening....

just be self righteous.....hopefully do the trick...

    still have the treats though...xx
