Hi everyone i'm back, i was on my way to the shop to buy some cigs today and i decided not to buy some, i went in the chemist next door instead and bought some patches, and a crafe away cigarrette. Now i've got a patch on i really want to quit, and i can use the crafe away dummy cig for the mornings. For those of you who don't know i have crohn's disease, and it is very important that i stop smoking to prevent any sort of relapse. Thanks.
Daniel.

Nice to see you back Daniel, is the crafe away a pretend ciggie?
It would be nice for you to keep your crohns at bay, I understand it is a very uncomfortable illness.
You obviously really want to do it and I hope you succeed. Probably sound like a hypocrite as I used to smoke, but I've never found men smoking an attractive thing, especially today when i saw 2 builders outside the pub drinking and smoking and their builders bums were on show for all to see ha ha!!
You'll be fine daniel, just stay focused, it gets easier over time and you'll never regret it
Yes shellywinters its a pretend cig, the taste of it is nicer than a cig too. It says on the packaging it lasts for 4 weeks, i doubt it will last that long though it was only £1.99 lol. Thanks for all the support in the posts, it means alot.
Hi Dan - sorry I'm a bit late with this but so proud of you for getting straight back up and starting again. That shows real determination and I'm sure you will do this.

Hey Daniel,
I too am on day 1 again today, I really want to quit more than anything. Could kick myself for failing. I am so down with it. I am on patches too - I think they are the only thing that are going to actually get me through this longterm. Just cannot get my head round it- I hate smoking (have only ever "enjoyed" about, it tastes awful, I KNOW I will be upset if I cave in, it costs me a fortune, my health deteriorates quickly, yet I still it happen.... I dont know....
Well done to you and lets keep it up. I am going to be more focused than ever, and after reading one of Chrissies posts, it makes sense, I am going to cut out alcohol for a couple of months, its the worst trigger for me.
