Hello hon,

I am still here 3 calender months today since I quit and now over a week patch free.

Think that means that I am ready to move to the next area in here but feel like I have only been in this one for a week or two. How time flies.

Hope there are still loads of us, am sure there is!

Still creeping along ...

Yup still here ... 11 weeks today actually.

The smoking dreams have commenced the last week so I guess that's a bonus as I can have a fag without the health threat hee hee!!

Plodding on ... I stay determined.

I'm still here. Of course I had the little blip at the beginning of March which I confessed at the time. But I'm still not smoking. I finished with the patches but I'm still using 6 or 7 nicotine gums every day.

It's getting lots easier but I still miss smoking sometimes - several times a day I will get a little crave.

Glad everyone has found a way, whether patches, gum, CT or just plain scoffing loadsa choccies to keep off the smokes.

Think it's holiday time at the mo, so prob not the best time to do this - D'OH!

If I had another brain cell I would be dangerous!!!

I am still here! It's 77 days today. I am thrilled if getting a bit podgy. But hey, if I can ditch the fags, I can lose a few pounds. I am still on the road.

Ellie, TBH I totally agree (not that you are looking podgy) that we can achieve anything now. Losing weight, taking up something new, etc., as I dunno about anyone else, but I think this has been one of the hardest things I've done.

Me, me, me, me, me! I’m here miss! *arm stretched up so straight shoulder might pop out!*

Sorry I have not been around much. Been so busy at work and have internet issues (having to use internet at my mums house). I think I also missed this post last time ... I’m in the next room now .....nah-nah-n-nah-nah! YIPPEE!

I’m still going strong, stronger than ever in fact. I really have got to the point when I rarely think about smoking, let alone crave. I have changed my habits at work and have now become a fan of mint tea ... random! It’s so nice to be at this point. To all you fellow cold-turkey-ers keep going, I really do think that we get to this stage earlier than our fellow quitters. To all you non-cold-turkey-ers, it may be a few days more for you but believe me it is so worth the effort.

The running is going strong. I completed the couch to 5k so have drawn up a 5k-10k regime which I am just beginning... Watch out Radcliffe ....

The benefits of not smoking are better than I could have hoped for. I am treating myself to spangly white teeth this month – an April promise made to myself before I quit. Keeping them white will be easy now! I really do justify every spend with the fact that I have quit which is slightly ironic because I smoked rollies costing no more that £10 a week, yet I have a new wardrobe all purchased in the last 3 months .... hmmm! Oh well!

I agree with all you folks that we can do anything now.

Come on peeps, I have moved the healthy food and shiny new gym into the next room ready for you all!
