I have a chest infection! Ive been coughing and coughing since friday! Went to the doctor today as there was blood in the "phlem" (sorry, tmi) and ive now got anti biotics!
ALSO!!! He said "Do you smoke?"
I said "No, ive been quit 14 days."
And he said "Your still a smoker then" No im not!!! *hands on hips again and pouty face*

Aw Elli thats so unfair of your Dr if I may voice my opinion on the subject, he should understand how difficult it is and stand back in amazement at you but maybe he's one of those "never smoked" peeps?
Anyway sweetie, a well done from me, you are doing great and just to help you out a bit I stopped for nearly 3 months and then got a very bad chest infection and finished up in Hospital for 4 days - that was just over two weeks ago and I'm not back to myself yet, its just not fair, is it? You rant as much as you like, I agree with you.
Take care sweetie, love, hugs and sending you courage to cope, xxxx
What a rubbish doctor!! I hope you coughed some nice germs in his direction........
Yeah I was happy about getting my nose back too til I sat next to a smelly man on the bus, also realised how fishy my cats breathe is lol! Good luck with that
It's rubbish isn't it when something soooo good for you makes you feel so utterly terrible. I've wound up on anti biotics too, endless pain killers and unable to eat coz of infections in my mouth, so I know what you mean. Last Thurs I was feeling so unashamedly sorry for myself, I spent most of the day in tears (which helped loads!). I'm not sure I'd have managed to hold my tongue if I'd been spoken to like that by a Dr. Hope you're feeling better soon
Its rubbish. But in your heart you ARE a non smoker. Take that with you. Sadly the chest infection thing is quite common. In fact, i've had more chest infections this year than in the last 10!! Typical. Hope you feel better soon x
Stupid doctor :(- I've got one who laughed at me last year when I said I needed help giving up and he told me it was supposed to be difficult. Also the same doctor who told me to go on a low fat diet when I was half a stone underweight!!!
I hope you feel better soon - antiobiotics are sure to help and maybe you need some TLC.
