Been along time for me since last posting on here so thought as I am nearly at day 50 it's a good time to post.
I just cannot believe how quick the time has gone 7 whole weeks completed and now on the beginning of week 8, but then on the other hand I feel as though I have quit far longer than 7 weeks.
I moved down to 14 mg patches nearly 2 weeks ago and I have to admit I didn't notice any difference in coming down or struggle as I thought I would. Since last Wednesday I have not had a patch on except for Friday evening as I had a friend round for dinner and as drinking thought it best to be safe but since then I haven't had one on, so in light of this I am not going to continue with the patches, but will use them if I feel it necessary and will pick this up with the nurse next Monday on my next appointment. In the back of my mind I keep thinking that I wont succeed my quit if i dont follow the 12 week plan, what does anyone else think?.
I hope everyone else is continuing well with there quit.
It feels good to be posting again.

Shazie you're doing great!
I will tell you what I think. I think that the companies involved in making huge profits out of nicotine replacement products want you to believe you'll fail if you don't follow their 12 week plan, which involves buying as many of their products as possible. You've beaten smoking, and now you need to beat nicotine.
Stop taking NRT as soon as you can and you're FREEEE........!
Shazie - you've always sounded upbeat and grounded on this forum and you're so strong. You'll have no problems.
