Fell off the wagon last night and had a couple of cigerettes feel disappointed in myself if I'm honest.
I don't tend to get cravings at all now it's only when I have a few beers on a weekend I do and past couple of weeks I've managed not to have one untill last night!

Hiya mate
not sure of what to say think your disappointment in yourself says it all...chin up mate gather your thoughts and chin up ...lets go again you have done brilliant so far Stu dont let this get you down look at it more as a test ..... good luck fella right behind you
I'm not sure having a couple is a stumble off the wagon, Stu.
If it was just the 2 then surely that is a blip and if so...just continue were you left of but take on board the lesson of having a smoke and the way that you feel today.
That said...just keep picking yourself up, dust down and move yourself closer to your desire to becoming a non smoker by not having a smoke

Cav
I tend to agree with Cav here, it was a blip. It's done, back on the wagon my love.
Becoming a smoker doesn't happen over night; for most of us it's a gradual process. Think about being on a diet, you'd still slip in the odd bacon buttie! Just hop straight back on that wagon and you'll do fine.
thanks for all the replys and words of encouragement I know what you all mean but it's happened about 4 times now since new years eve only after I've had a few beers on a weekend, it's strange because I can handle the cravings which ate becoming non existent but i can't seem to fight them when I've had a few.
Everything considered tho I'm feeling better about myself and I can run for longer periods of time without getting breatheless so I'm quite pleased about that, just it gets me down when I mess up on a weekend!
Well thanks for listening and it will be 2 monthes a week on Monday!
Sorry to hear you'er disappointed in yourself, try not to dwell on that too much, as others have said, it's a blip and you have to pick yourself up and dust yourself down and carry on...
It's so hard to give up when you still enjoy a few beers though, makes it so much tougher. I've just had an awful weekend, managed to get through it without smoking, but I know it was close. Have come to the realisation that if I want to succeed at this, I need to knock the beers on the head, at least for a bit - it just makes it too hard to succeed!
Try not to let this get to you too much - but don't give in again, the demon's voice will be a little louder for a while because it's had a taste - don't let it win.
only thing you got to acknowledge is that with the re-introduction of an instant hit or two of nicotine you will have had it affect how your brain now craves that nicotine again for the next few or so days. While quitting your brain tends to rewire quite a bit as you avoid taking in nicotine and when you have even a single smoke, you do tend to revert back a bit and the cravings will be alot more intense than you have got them down to since quitting.
It'll take work on your part but its not unacheivable.
Stu - I know you must be bitterly dissapointed and I REALLY sympathise because I know how hard this not smoking can be... BUT, I'm going to go against the grain here. If I had one puff on a cigarette I wouldn't view it as "just a blip" it's really SERIOUS. Last time I stopped smoking 2 years ago my "just a blip" meant I smoked another 10,095 fags and it took me another 2 years to stop. If a reformed Herion addict jacked up for a hit one day I wouldn't say to them "oh don't worry it's just a blip" and the same applies to smoker. Both will kill you. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE use all the support you can get here, and by reading Whyquit and from friends and family and don't go near a fag again!!!! Those sticks are DANGEROUS, your mind plays tricks on you, and it does get easier.
