I can't believe that it's 8 weeks since my last smoke.I still feel like I am a smoker because when I'm stressed I could kill for a ciggy, through these times I grit my teeth and wait for it to pass (which they do) Unfortunately I have a lot of domestic problems, just have to keep telling myself that a ciggy won't change anything, also get no support from o/h. Sorry for this self pitying ramble but it helps to write it down and try to keep things in perspective

Hi Marie, that's fantastic, brilliant and well done. I'm not much further ahead of you 9 weeks and 4 days. Around the 8 weeks mark I felt the same very difficult time. The thing that got me is when will it end? I did not want to smoke but did want something. Well today I feel I have stopped smoking, did not have any inclin to smoke at work no triggers and I feel this could be the beginning of the end.
So hang in there don't dare give in now you have not far to go. As you say if you have a fag the problems don't go away, they will still be there.
I have had something that has caused me alot of worry for 2 and a half weeks. I have to go to a meeting tomorrow to try and sort it out and I'm cr***ing myself but it has not made me smoke because the first thing I said to myself when this started it wont make it go away if I smoke.
Hi Marie, U said it,,, "It will not change anything if I smoke" And it doesnt as Jack as also confirmed.... You are doing brilliant now., and almost passed the worst so stay strong and u will NOT regret it......
Hope you are feeling better today. Sometimes I still crave for a fag but the more you beat the craves the easier it becomes to tackle them until eventually they become just an annoying niggle in the back of your mind sometimes. x
