A very good Incentive!!

I thought I would share something with you that I witnessed on the weekend and made me so very glad that I have given up smoking I went to a auction yesterday and the lady that was running it was having a lot of trouble breathing....I actually had a conversation with her a couple of times and felt dreadfully sorry for her as she obviously had Emphysema or COAD .......imagine my:eek: to run into her outside and she was smoking :eek: ....she couldnt even breath!! It was hard to estimate an age for her ....could have been anywhere between 60 and 80 :rolleyes:

I couldnt take my eyes off her all day.....and came to the conclusion that that could have been me in another 20 years if I hadnt given up smoking.......and what an absolute relief that I wasnt going to end up like that . A very good incentive for me to never take another puff....every time I look at OH smoking I see her trying to breathe.....I pointed it out to him.....straight over the top of his head......Bangs head against wall

Had the old man on my dtb for ages before i saw this - clip shows it wont help addicts still smoking but hope it helps to strengthen your quit as much as it did /and does mine

I read about this man and was sad, have just watched it and I am so past sad you would not believe it, tears want bring him back but this should be shown right through out schools and maybe work places, will wipe my eyes and even though I knew I wouldnt smoke again before seeing it I now start to wonder if tobbaco should be banned.

My Mother died quite quickly after being diagnose with Lung Cancer but was 77 but she could still be with us if she hadnt smoked.

hi ellie great read xxx Other people would think that woman was stupid for carrying on smoking ...but we all know how hard it is & that its the addiction xx awh feel so sorry for this woman want to hug her n tell her to follow me xxx
