  • Hi Kate

this is my day 1 also, feeling good so far, (which is worrying me) and feeling positive  Which confuses me as I have been pretty missarable during previous quits, but I think I will try to enjoy it while it lasts! Hope you are still doing ok?

  • he sas im feeling fairly positive aswell, finding it faily 'easy' so far, keep thinking like oh if I do this then I can have my fag as a reward lol, I read about this on so many websites, so I instantly reconise it, im just worried this is the calm before the storm, what are you using if anything? im on the patches :)

  • Champix

    Hi kate

I am using Champix and I don't know if it is that or my mindset that is diferent this time! Still feeling positive although struggled a little late afternoon, busy time of the day for me ( have got 5 children) and used to 'step outside' regularly to get me through!! Have to find a way to switch off somehow though....

Feeling great again now and I realise it is early days and things might and very possibly will get harder (especially if my previous quits are anything to go by!) but for now I am enjoying this and making the most of it!

Nearly 24 hours, roll on day 2! Let us know how you are doing!

Keeps the mind busy...Day 4 for me...:)

  • well guys its nearly the end of day 2, still feeling really good, slept well, its strange as most peoplw heere on patches write about sleep problems, but im doing good, evenings are my main trigger times, right this min im fightin a cravin, but im just doing some deep breathin whilst typin to forget about it, im a very stubborn person, my sister thinks i cant give up as i smoke loads, so that is spurring me on, just so i can say ha told u i could hehe, i no thats not the best reason but its defo helpin me

  • hi kate:D

  • Patch Buddy

    Hi there,

Well done on day two :D Thats ace.

I am on the patches and finding them a great help too.

I am on day 13 and never thought on day 2 that I could get here but I am and its great. This forum has helped immensely.

Use whatever motivation you can, I know that when I told my family they all went "thats great, well done" a bit half heartedly cos I tried to quit many times a few years ago but my Mum was shocked when I said yesterday was day 12. That made me feel much better than anything else ha-ha! Enjoy proving your sister wrong!

Keep it up and let us know how you are getting on.

    Debxx
