Hi Kate

this is my day 1 also, feeling good so far, (which is worrying me) and feeling positive  Which confuses me as I have been pretty missarable during previous quits, but I think I will try to enjoy it while it lasts! Hope you are still doing ok?

Champix

Hi kate

I am using Champix and I don't know if it is that or my mindset that is diferent this time! Still feeling positive although struggled a little late afternoon, busy time of the day for me ( have got 5 children) and used to 'step outside' regularly to get me through!! Have to find a way to switch off somehow though....

Feeling great again now and I realise it is early days and things might and very possibly will get harder (especially if my previous quits are anything to go by!) but for now I am enjoying this and making the most of it!

Nearly 24 hours, roll on day 2! Let us know how you are doing!

I'm using cold turkey and this Forum... Fueled by Allen Carr's easy way book at hand at all times. I also started building a chat room for people like us for some more direct chat when we need it...

Patch Buddy

Hi there,

Well done on day two :D Thats ace.

I am on the patches and finding them a great help too.

I am on day 13 and never thought on day 2 that I could get here but I am and its great. This forum has helped immensely.

Use whatever motivation you can, I know that when I told my family they all went "thats great, well done" a bit half heartedly cos I tried to quit many times a few years ago but my Mum was shocked when I said yesterday was day 12. That made me feel much better than anything else ha-ha! Enjoy proving your sister wrong!

Keep it up and let us know how you are getting on.
