:)Hi guys, Don't come on much now only to view posts to see how everyone is doing, but recently started posting again to encourage a friend I introduced to the forum. I wanted to encourage her and give her as much support as possible to help through the hard days at the beginining. Which I know definately give me the best start possible.

I reached 10 months today and would like to thank everyone for all the support I have received, At the start of my quit as well as all the support I received I decided to start a "Cash for Ash"for the 1st year which I put £4.00 a day in, and below is a list of my treats to keep me motivated..

Love the list, I have one too. Have treated myself to things I would never normally buy as they were too expensive.

All are gorgeous and I am getting the greatest of pleasures wearing stuff that normally I would consider out of my price range. Normaly clothes are the cheap variety now as I have put on sooo much weight....

Wow! all that from 10 months not smoking, a big congratulations on 10 months absolutely brilliant.

Let's see what have I bought myself since I stopped smoking.

2 packets of extra strong mints,

4 bottles of Fanta

A packet of Whethers originals

Some apples and some oranges

Well I haven't been working have I? but I tell you this as soon as I start working again which looks like tomorrow I'll save up my money from not smoking and buy myself a 42" HDTV so there.

Hi Karen and other 6+ Month quitters recently come out from the woodwork

I've only been on this site for just short of 3 months and thought that there weren't many 6 month + folk about............... there's been the usual members who I recall from when I signed up, but lately there have been so many more coming forward as their year and move into the Penthouse approaches and it's been great to see the numbers suddenly swell.

Out Of The Woodwork Ha ha

Hi Pol, The reason I came out of woodwork ha ha as u say is cos I introduced my friend Sharon to the site and I wanted to give her support and advice as I remembered how much it helped me at the start. It is very addictive this forum, and I spent alot of time on the first 6 months. I still came on to see how people were getting on, but didnt post, as if your not careful takes over your life... Which it did at first, but not complaining cos if it wasnt for this forum wouldnt be where I am today....

Great to see so many newbies doing so well...

The noisier the move/party the better - I know I'll make it but still can't believe it for myself even with the stubborn determination that I have.

I also recognise that I will always miss smoking but I can deal with that.....
