Welcome to the forum, launie, and well done on getting to the 3rd week already! Not an expert on Champix at all but I do believe nausea is a common side effect. More will post and give you their opinions. I know morning sickness so I'm sorry if you are feeling that way...... yuck! Hope you get to feeling better soon!

Hey, welcome to the site.

Again I'm not any expert either. However I do know that it's got something to to with eating. Are you taking the tabs before eating or after? Try the reverse of what you are doing.

Congrats on stopping smoking :)

Hi Launie :)

Well done you 15 days smoke free is great keep it going

I also used Champix and had that feeling of nausea with the morning one and you're right it feels exactly like morning sickness I solved it by taking it later and not first thing as I don't eat breakfast but if you eat something first and then take it with a full glass of water it should solve it for you

Below is my standard welcome and advice post which I try and give all new members

Welcome to the forum and well done on the decision to quit possibly one of the most important you will ever make and you will be losing nothing but you will regain control of your life and that has to be good

Read the posts on here you will find a lot of tips and advice and in the signatures of a lot you will find links to other sites just click on them Here are 2 I found very good to start you off whyquit.com and woofmang.com Read, read and then read some more as the more you read and learn about why you smoked and about your addiction the easier your quit will be

This link is good for the psychological part of quitting whyquit.com/whyquit/A_Sympt...

Hi Launie

Im in the same boat, day 24 of giving up and 30 of taking champix. I still get the sickness feeling for about an hour every time i take the tablet so i guess its normal. what i have found though is have something to eat just before you take the pill its seems to reduce the sickness.

or maybe you DO have morning sickness lol

hang in there

Cut down on Champix

spoke to my pharmacy yesterday and told him about the terrible sick feeling I am getting after my tabs twice a day so he said that if i feel confident enough to half the dose, and I did feeling much better today no more morning sickness thank god:D
