Greetings, I found your post in reasons and went wow. It was not until I had quit smoking that I became aware that I was stinking the place up. I have lingered around smokers from time to time but I have yet to follow one.
If in town or walking along the street I find myself following the smell of smoke.
Yesterday I followed this guy as he weaved through the pedestrian traffic, sniffing his Lambert and Butler
It does smell nice though!
I am a bit worried I will be arrested for stalking strange people, is it a good defence to say I quit smoking and was following the smell?
I am not smoking it, just SMELLING it:
:D Nothing surprises me, I think quitting affects the rational part of our brain!! I went to the cash machine at lunch time and could smell smoke but there was no one around, I was trying to decide whether the cash machine was in fact a secret smoker until I took a grip of myself!! However lets keep that between the two of us shall we
Thanks for your comments guys, I don't know why I do, but I love the smell of smoke.
I was taking a test drive today and the salesman stank of smoke when he got into the car, but I actually liked it!
Most people dislike it. My wife hates the smell of smoke. But she was never a smoker anyway.
A good friend of mine gave up 3 years ago, and like me he loves the smell of smoke, and used to join me when I went for a smoke just so he could smell it.
Good news is I still havent puffed a ciggie since 22 August 2009, and that is my best attempt at quitting EVER.
With the money I am saving, I have bought the wife a new car today for her birthday, so it's all good
