on Cold Turkey. Battled a few demons last night but really cant see me going back on this. Energy levels and not smelling are a revelation!!

Hope the rest of you are doing well. Got a work night out tonight, wonder what drinking and not smoking is like??!!!

Well done you. The drinking without smoking is going to be a bit of a challenge but in fairness since the smoking ban we should be kind of used to it. I'm out Saturday but the way I look at it is we will just have to cope.

Good morning, Sounds like you are doing really well Tony. Going out and drinking can be a problem, but you sound like you are ready to deal with it so go out and enjoy your night as a non smoker.

Christine, your right about the ban, no more having to stand in rain, wind and snow, seeing all the non smokers look at you as if you are mad (which of course we were).

Hope you both have a really good day, and enjoy your nights out.

You are soon addicted to this site rather than the smoking and luckily this site doesnt make you smell badly (unless your stood next door to penguins fish) and most of the time wont kill you unless you get on someones last nerve, and even then your only stabbed or head butted.

Well done, hope goes o.k. tonight, I am sure with the weather the way it is you will be glad not to go outside for a smoke.

Well Done you. I did the drinking and smoking thing in a pub last night too. And I agree. Hangover doesn't seem nearly as bad without the wheezy chest and horrible fag smell lingering.

Brilliant - big hurdle over. It's great after you go out drinking for the first time without a cigarette and realise that the sky doesn't fall in and you can still enjoy yourself. When I was smoking, I thought it would be impossible, but now I wonder why I was making such a fuss about it.
