I've been a very good girl and not smoked for a whole year!

I really can't believe just how quickly the time has gone and the fact that I only remembered that today was my anniversary late this morning is testament to the fact that I am now a true non-smoker.

Thanks to everyone on this forum who has helped me along and to anyone reading this who is just starting out-take heart-if I can do it anyone can!

Thanks everyone-it feels great to have passed this milestone as it was becoming a bit of a monkey on my back!

I've been busy settling in to the penthouse-it's very cosy I must say-best the extension is finished sooner rather than later as it looks like there are lots more quitters on their way!

I don't visit the forum all that often now-another sign that I have truly moved on from being a nicotine addict as I hardly ever think about smoking.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone for all the support and encouragement I got here-especially in the early days when it seemed that all I could think about was smoking. Special mentions must go to StuartH, NicFirth and of course mummy marg. Don't know if Forced2Quit is still around, but she was a big support as well as being my quit buddy-here's hoping she's still on the wagon.

Anyway-I've rambled on far too much-here's to my 2nd smoke free year!

Like you I forgot about it completly. I was hoping you would be around too. I feel the same though we never met you were just as much help to me. I think we both had the same stuff going on, same trigger points etc etc. I'm so glad you made it too although to be honest I always thought if I made it you would because we faced the same stuff (does that make sense?!)
