I have no idea where they come from, I find through the week when I'm at work and when I come home I seem to be ok but the weekends are horrible, I do try and keep busy but the dreaded craves and foul moods just stay with me, although they are not as intense this weekend as they were last weekend, so it gets better....hope you ok now xx

I have no idea where these mood swings come from but they seem to affect most of us to start with

thanks Maverick........but think I'm now on day 30, on my comp at work the quit keeper says 30 days - will need to check my calendar at home, I swear this no smoking lark makes me more stupid than normal.... AND..... I have appointment at dentist on Friday as got wobbly tooth, wonder what else is going to wobble and drop off now that I don't smoke...... :eek:

Made my appointment today :rolleyes: Guess it has to be faced now we are non smokers!

Hi Mel, Think it's the 8th July (my brain has stopped working over the last week :rolleyes:). New dentist as mine has left (again). My teeth are already in a very bad way from smoking so it can only get better I hope!. We'll have to start a dentist thread LOL.

I'm terrified of the dentist and I just know that this tooth will be a gonner as it's soooooo wobbly, luckily it's at the back of my mouth so no one will see the gap, however I have noticed that the gaps between the teeth are much much bigger and that's what I'm worried about...........:eek:

I am sure evrything will be fine. I guess it will take a while for our gums to settle down after the damage done by smoking. I don't like dentists either (must be the only place we go where we have to PAY for pain LOL). Better to go & keep on top of it now that you are a non smoker

I was told in my early twentys that if I did not stop smoking I would lose my teeth at a young age. I chose to put that thought to the back of my mind & carry on. Eventually I lost all my bottom teeth due to smoking & chemo which was not to gentle either :eek: Not many people know this as I am embarressed so takes a lot to share this info. At least you have stopped smoking before getting to that point

Well if truth be told I honestly think a lot of my teeth a wobbly, especially on the top, when I was at the dentist............last year - which was the first time in YEARS, she told me to stop smoking as I had receeding gums and would soon start to loose teeth, told her (same as you did) that I was stopping (I lied) and have NEVER been back......am now paying the price for all those years of smoking.....I'm quite a vain person (yes I know I shouldn't be) and the thought of missing teeth is horrifying me.

It's all just soooo depressing, if only I knew all this BEFORE I started smoking I NEVER would have xxx ((((( hugs to you and me)))))
