Well another day another smoke free day has passed and i'm onto day 6.
I feel like i'm 16 not 36 when i'm skipping around the house or grinning like a cheshire cat when i think of me getting as far as i have.
I was tempted to keep my patch off today but then i thought i might be tempting fate.
So i stuck another one on.
For the first time in a long time, Sunday dinner smells 10 times better than it normaly does!!
Nikki
Nikki P - well done that is excellent, I feel exactly the same as you!!!!! It is amazing isnt it - this is my first time at Day 6! I always used to get Mon-Fri no problem then a Friday night or Saturday night and that was me, back on them again! So happy for you!!! We can stick to it and get to 1 year at this rate!!!!! MJ XX
We sure can MJ!! Fab isn't it, i want to shout from the rooftops but i'm scred of heights hehehe!! I feel like a little girl in a sweets shop!
I've also managed to cut down on chocolate.
I have been given good advise too re cravings.
As i was reaching for chocolate's i've been told not to do the same thing with every craving or i will replace the ciggies for another addiction and that would have been chocolate for me.
I just stand out in my garden and smell that fresh air!!
I didn't realise how smoking masked the smell of things.
Hubby has also said it's great to come down in the morning to a fresh smelling house and not one that stinks of fags!
He has also quit too, i have reservations if he will continue or not, he's doing cold turkey.
Lee we always got spare dinners going here, i could email you one over
