bad day today...14th day on champix....pissed right off...snapping at everybody...told my wife I am leaving her over a row about chicken nuggets (she is stopping too)...a few cravings...my mind is telling me to stop taking the pills then I can have a fag....I am not wasting 14 days....

That's right.... you don't want to waste 14 days.... because at some point you will have to do them again if you start again..... 14 days is huge.... 2 more weeks or so and you are in the clear for the most part..... keep going... you have come this far, keep going just a bit longer..... there comes the day where you have no physical cravings and you will realize you can do this.... almost easily. Take a day at a time..... but don't look back, being a non-smoker is infinitely better than being a smoker.... this from a confirmed smoker who is still surprised she is still quit.... it just became easy.... how could you go back?! The freedom tastes too sweet! Take care..... you are doing well!

I'm so sorry you had a bad day yesterday, being angry is all part of quitting I'm afraid

But most of this is down to those sneaky b........d Nico :eek: Demons

trying to get you back in their power, you've been starving them and they don't like it, continue to starve them OK

Don't waste those 14 days or you'll only have to do them all over again and you don't want that

Remember the good days far outweigh the bad and ignore those voices telling you otherwise, they are LYING to you

I also used champix as an aid but it is just an aid you still need willpower as well, I smoked for over 50 years so if I can do it so can you

Noooo dont waste those days.

I cant add anymore than what has already been said but I can sympathise with the husband/wife quitting. My husband has quit as well and boy have we had some great rows over the smallest of things!!! LOL Not nice I know but we have been able to laugh over it after!!!

Growl through the next few days but please dont give up giving up.

No don't waste those days, 2 years ago gave up for 3 months then started on the evil weed it has taken all that time to get head round doing it again, OH as well, its been 9 days so far for us and we have both said not going down that road again. We snap at each other, but luckily no major rows, been close, but we walk away when feeling scratchy or whatever and go and do something.
