I don't agree with the "ct is best" approach, whatever works for you is best - although if you think about it ct is the only way to finish a quit.... no matter how you start (nrt,champix,etc) everyone has to go it alone in the end...
But, I do find Kevin's writings to be very, very inspiring..... everytime I found myself close to the edge in the early days I knew I could count on the tales to get me back in the right frame of mind.

Very true, doesn't matter how you quit as long as your doing it is the main thing.
I like his style of writing and yes it is incredibly inspiring, something I definatly would encourage new quitters to read, I usually find myself having a browse while at work
