Aprilers we need a name ?

To all of us who began this journey in April, I think it would be nice if we formed a group with a name as the mad marchers and the fab febs have done.

What do you all think? Can anyone come up with a good name?

Instead of thining about not smoking, I've been trying to think of a name and the best I could think of was "April Springers" Not the best name I know but I bet some of you could think of a great name. Let me know what you think.

Hi I'm only new to this forum and would like to join ur group. I am on day 7 of Champix so I'm hoping i'll get something more than bad dreams soon and can officially call myself an April Quitter! How about a name that has something to do with fools? Because we were all foolish to begin smoking. April Fools No More! lol

Welcome Speedway, it's always good to welcome new quitters. Yeah I like that name too. Your right we were complete fools to start such a disgusting habit. Don't know how to choose which one to use, maybe we need a vote!

Come on everyone get your imagination going ('cos mine's rubbish at the moment) We need a name and we need it soon.

Really really good luck with your quit, post often and let us all know how your doing. This is a great site and I don't think would have got this far without it.

Hi guys, thanks a lot for the welcome. I am feeling really good about finding this site, everyone seems so helpful and supportive. Me and my OH are also doing this together, our best friends have been smoke free for 7 weeks and inspired us. We are taking Champix, I am on day 7 and still smoking, and he is on day 15, 9 days without a smoke. I am hoping that I can do as well as him and am hoping that once I start the full strength pills tomorrow a lightening bolt will hit! lol. I know exactly where I'll be coming when I start getting cravings, just reading all the posts gives me extra strength to know that I am not the only one. I am worried about becoming angry when the cravings hit and being snappy with the kids, but instead of going outside for a smoke, I will come to the computer and check the posts.

Much willpower to you all.

I thought it was a good name too, I like word play names! lol

I'm sure you'll be hearing from me soon (and often no doubt! lol).
