I've just learned that the WeQuit forum will be closing its doors (so to speak) shortly - sometime in April. Something to do with funding shortfalls I'm told.
This is indeed very sad news. The forum and the people on it have been instrumental and a major key to my success. I'll survive, of course, because I've been off the nicotine for a year now.
But I feel horrible on behalf of the newbies who have just started their journey. Where will they turn for support and information?
Well, before it's shut down for the last time, I'd like to thank all of you who've been there with me to help me get through this transition. Couldn't have done it without you.
By the way, I'd be willing to make a small donation to help keep the forum alive. Maybe if we all chipped in, it could keep going.
