Welcome to the forum JTee. If you really want to quit you're in the right place. There is lots of information and empathy round here. You'll find links all over, and it looks as if you are reading now, so have a good look. We've all been where you are now so don't worry about it being your first time. Get to bed tonight and you'll be on your second day soon. Get your head believing you're a non smoker first. David

Welcome and good job so far..... making the decision is such a huge step already! The next few days won't be fun but just keep going forward and don't look back...... Freedom is waiting for you if you just keep going. Stay positive, read a lot, post, etc..... never doubt..... the mental part is huge of course..... I used a hypnosis cd that helped me stay calm and positive and I actually still listen to it here and then when I start getting antsy.... glass of wine helps me too Hang in there! It gets easier
