Thanks everyone for the continued support. I know i have been posting like mad over the last few days and will probably continue to do so for a few more days. But i feel its really helped me.....
Talking to people who have been there, done it or are going through it, makes a nice change from talking to my non smoking friends or family members. But the best one talking to a NHS Quit Smoking advisor who has never smoked in her life !!! What the hell was that all about !!!??? Hmmmmmm
Anyway I would like a bit of a rant about this sleeping lark. I have only had 3 hours sleep last night and about 4 the previous night. Marg you said it would soon pass..... how long does it take ?
You sound so possitive keep going and keep us posted X
Hi Trendy
Its about mind set i swear. Ive had so many previous quits where i have done nothing but stress and chase the fags..... this time its different. I want to look and feel healthy and thats the only motivator i have.
Its enough as without our health we have nothing !!!

Sorry I really Can't put a time to it as we're all different but mine only lasted a few days it gets easier after the nicotine leaves the body Just hang in there and rant as much as you like OK if it helps why not eh
Well done on getting stuck into Day 3. It's a biggie, cos after today the nic-demon is gone from your system
We're all affected differrently, but my sleep patterns have gradually returned to pretty much normal now. The first few days were quite disrupted. Hopefully you will see some improvements before long - either way you can look at it in a positive light: - it's because you have stopped putting all those chemicals and drugs into your body

Hi Deke
Its been a tough one today. Good to know that after today i have no more nicotine left in the system.... just loads of chocolate, cos thats all ive been doing since i quite lol... eating tons of it ... oh well
Hi sweet xx Te sleeping lark is a bum in the first couple of days!!! Can't get to sleep, then waking up every 5 minutes!! GRRRRR I know what it was like... but mine only last approx 4/5 days too!! Then it started getting back to normal! and now it is back to normal! The only thing I find is that I am waking up earlier in the mornings now. It's nothing to do with cravings though, it's cos I'm having a much deeper, better sleep now and I'm waking up with more vitality and energy than ever before!!
I know it's awful!! but keep going... it does get better... PROMISE!!
