While reading through the forums - post quit (17 hours now, not that I'm counting!) - I noticed there was something about some of the 'side-effects' to quitting, things you might experience, ie: spots, runny noses etc., however, I don't know where to find it.
Could someone point me in the right direction?

I quit a year ago today. take my advice and don't bother looking at the symptoms... there are none. Only good things happen from the second you stub out the last cigarette. Your nose may run, but it may have run even had you continued smoking. People complain of various ailments but most of them are psychological and lets face it we all secretly enjoy 'suffering'. just worry about yourself and not others. Anything untoward then go and see your doctor.
Starless..... good going... you are on day 2 now! I agree with Fairy of course... don't go looking for symptoms..... your body will start healing... for me it was not all that obvious. I felt fit and healthy while smoking and don't feel much different now. Some people feel much much better of course and some will feel like crap..... I also feel it is mostly psychological.... if you think it is more go see a doc..... but don't go fishing for symptoms. Everyone is so different. I am sure though SOMEONE will post the symptoms anyways Welcome here and hang in there..... we want you to be here and we want to support you.... so read and post!
