1 year for plumski
Congratulations!!! keep the penthouse warm for me and get the guiness in see you in 6 months! well done xxxx
Nice One Plumski,
From little 'unorthodox' starts do great quits spring!!
You'd previously asked for video storyline suggestions as to what to do with your last cig which you had dug out of it's hidey hole behind the wardrobe. I had a wee think but TBH your first video seemed spontaneous and possibly that's what made it effective. Difficult to replicate that scenario.
Nevermind, you are probably beavering away with storyboards and directors filming 'Plumski's Great Escape from Nicotine' part 2, as we speak
Congrats,
Cav
*blush*
I was busy and offline all day yesterday and never got the chance to visit the forum for my anniversary.
I was really quite surprised to see just now that Dubbs had started this thread for me so thanks to all contributors!
I've also not got around to doing my YouTube video - with any luck I'll do it tomorrow. (The first one wasn't all THAT spontaneous, Cav - well, the beginning was all all thought out but then I was on a roll and did the rather rubbish "what you can do with a £20 note" thing which sort of descended into chaos. I might just do a better list now though.)
Thanks again everyone both for the congrats, and for the support over the last year. I really couldn't have made it past several points without the help of forumers!
I smoked my last cigarette 1 Year, 1 Day, 4 hours and 46 minutes ago. I have £3,010.16 that I haven't spent on 12,816 cigarettes and saved 1 Month, 1 Week, 6 Days and 12 hours of my life.
Well done!
I have quitters envy! I am just a mere 3 weeks and 52 weeks seems .........well......49 weeks away!!
I cant wait to say I havent been smoking for 12 months!
hey nogarD, don't be jealous!
I remember just after I started on this journey a year ago, someone I'd not seen before returned to report on making his anniversary, and I was thinking just what you're thinking now: that having to take things a day and a week at a time, a year is a long, long time.
But it's gone past really quickly and I really can't believe I've made it myself. One of the good things about this forum and its layout is that you can celebrate each of the stepping stones as you get there, and will get all the support and onward momentum you need. The year is really just another number and you will get here if you keep on top of what you're doing and don't let the evil weed get on top of you!
good luck to everyone just starting - keep calm, don't give in to the evil whispers anbd you;ll get your life back too!
